The Colorado Rockies announced Friday that right-handed pitcher Jeff Hoffman has been called up from the Triple-A Albuquerque for a second time this season and will start for the club against the Seattle Mariners Friday. Antonio Senzatela was originally scheduled to start but was scratched due to a reoccurring blister on his finger.

In five relief appearances with the Rockies this season, Hoffman has recorded 5.1 innings, given up seven hits and has a 10.13 ERA. Friday will be his first start with the Rockies in 2018, but the Latham, N.Y., native is 6-9 with a 5.82 ERA (136.0 IP, 88 ER), 63 walks and 107 strikeouts across parts of three seasons with Colorado. In 13 starts for the Isotopes this season, Hoffman is 3-4 with a 4.07 ERA and has a 1.46 WHIP.

Senzatela has gone 3-2 with a 5.34 ERA, with nine walks and 20 strikeouts across 10 relief appearances and two starts in 2018. With the roster move, Colorado currently has a 40-man roster.
