The All-Start break is right around the corner and for a majority of the Rockies this is a much-needed break. The injury report has grown shorter and maybe that’ll be somewhat helpful during the middle of the season. When the team comes back after the midsummer classic, some dearly missed players like Corey Dickerson and Brooks Brown should be back.

Here is the current injury report.

Christian Bergman (P)– Placed on 15-day DL on June 30 for right shoulder inflammation. Expected to return in July.

Brooks Brown (P)– Placed on 15-day DL on June 18 for right shoulder inflammation. Even though he was placed on the 15-day DL, his return date is still TBD.

Tyler Chatwood (P)– Placed on 60-day DL on March 1 for July 2014 Tommy John surgery. He is expected to return “possibly 2015.”

Corey Dickerson (LF)– Placed on 15-day DL on June 17 for Plantar fasciitis in left foot. He is expected to return this month.

Jordan Lyles (P)– Was scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery June 10; transferred to 60-day DL on June 17 for left big toe sprain. His return date is uncertain.

Justin Mornaeu (1B)– Has been working on neck strengthening exercises as of a June 18 update for a Cervical strain and concussion symptoms and placed on the 15-day DL. But as of July 7, he was placed back on the 60-day DL.

Adam Ottavino (P)– Recovering from May 2015 Tommy John surgery and is out of the remaining of the 2015 but is expected to return for the 2016 season.

Ken Roberts (P)– Was sent on Triple-A rehab assignment June after recover from left elbow inflammation. He is currently on the 15-day DL and is expected to come back in early July.
