The Colorado Rockies, coming off their 87-win season, are hunting for relief help in the bullpen — and appear to have it in right-handed reliever and former Cleveland Indian Bryan Shaw.

Shaw, 30, has appeared in 475 games in his career, posting a 3.13 ERA and averaging 8.0 strikeouts per nine innings. Shaw has also pitched in the postseason, appearing in 19 games over six different series for the Indians as a set-up man.

Buster Olney of ESPN reports the deal is for three years, somewhere ‘in the range’ of $9 million dollars annually.

Shaw was drafted in the second round in the 2008 MLB Amateur draft after growing up and pitching in California. Shaw was 4-6 last year, with a 3.52 ERA.
