Denver Broncos legend Rod Smith joined the Denver Sports Betting radio show on Mile High Sports radio Friday afternoon.

Smith chopped it up with Aniello Piro and Chase Howell for a few minutes and discussed his stance on Nikola Jokic for MVP, the Broncos upcoming draft and some prop bets.

With the NFL Draft less than a week away, Smith would love to see the Broncos go after a player that could step in and make a difference instantly.

“I want to see them get an impact player,” Smith said on the Denver Sports Betting Show. “An impact player to me is someone who can play right now. We have not played well as a team… We have to put a better product on the field. Coach Fangio is working his tail off right now to go and get a guy who can make an impact. You want to go and get another guy like (Bradley) Chubb.”

Smith also talked about the type of player he would like to see the Broncos pick up, saying:

“I just want to see us get a guy who can come in humble and put in that work,” Smith said. “You still got to guide that guy. Whoever it is, it’s going to be a young guy, I want to see him get coached well.”

Catch the full interview with Smith below to hear about his take on the Denver Nuggets, as well as a couple of draft prop bets he has his eye on. Be sure to catch the Denver Sports Betting show 5x a week from 3-4p on Mile High Sports radio 98.1 or stream anytime at MileHighSports.com.
