Rookie running back Royce Freeman was practice limited in practice Thursday. According to Kyle Fredrickson of the Denver Post, head coach Vance Joseph hopes that the 22-year old out of the University of Oregon will be able to do more tomorrow. Freeman has been dealing with a high ankle sprain for the last two weeks, and had not practiced at all before Thursday.

Freeman was inactive in last week’s loss to Kansas City, which allowed Devontae Booker to break out with his most productive performance since 2016. If Freeman is unable to go again, the Broncos will need Booker to step up one more time in Week 11.

Along with Booker, first-year wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton missed Thursday’s practice with a knee injury. And on the defensive side, cornerback Bradley Roby, safety Darian Stewart and linebacker Brandon Marshall all sat out as well.

The official injury report for Sunday’s matchup with the Texans will be released on Friday.
