The Colorado Rockies are a team on the rise after their 87-win season and postseason appearance in 2017.

In the offseason, the team is targeting a number amount of positions, with the bullpen as Priority One. But overall, the team has been making noise all around Major League Baseball.

In an interview with Danny Williams, Benny Bash and Benjamin Allbright of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7, Ryan Spilborghs, part of the game day crew for the Rockies’ television network, says that the Rockies haven’t escaped notice.

“If you look at what they did last year, they turned a lot of heads,” Spilborghs says. “People just constantly talk about the Rockies lineup, like, ‘Hey, this lineup is nasty Hey, the defense is unbelievable’.”

“I think talking to some of the guys this off-season, they’re looking at 2018 as a legitimate playoff run. We’re not just trying to turn heads and sneak into the wild card. We’re a playoff team — let’s go toe-to-toe with the Dodgers; let’s go toe-to-toe with the Diamondbacks.”
