Bradley Roby is coming off the best game of his season for Denver after his four pass-deflection, one-interception game against the Arizona Cardinals, and Roby says that ‘soul searching’ was needed to get back to his usual routine of staying focused and consistent.

“Stay consistent and stay focused,” Roby told Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7 in the locker room Monday. “That’s really the biggest thing; stay focused and be consistent with my routines throughout the week to ensure I have a great game on Sundays. It’s a part of being a pro, it’s a part of learning yourself and the flows of the season.”

“When you have games like I’ve had in the past, you do a lot of soul searching, ‘what am I doing more, what am I ignoring that I should be paying more attention to?’ A lot of times it’s simple stuff, simple technique, getting lined up and being ready before the snap…it’s honing in on all the small things and going back to the fundamentals.”

Focusing on all the small things is what propelled Roby to a 90.8 grade for the game, according to Pro Football Focus, easily the highest of the year for Roby.
