Nikola Jokic is this year’s MVP although he has not looked like it through two games. Denver needs him to be at his MVP self for Game 3. He averaged 33 points per game in Denver’s series against the Portland Trail Blazers, but that number has dropped to 23 points per game in this series against Phoenix.

As for the Suns, they are stepping up their game when it counts. Despite Chris Paul looking a bit hobbled in the first round, he has been dominant against the Nuggets. He recorded double-doubles in both games and has 26 assists in two games.

Devin Booker is the most gifted scorer in this series, but don’t sleep on his passing ability. Through eight playoff games, Booker has racked up 40 assists and gone over 4.5 assists in five of those games. Michael Porter Jr. Under 18.5 Points (-139, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Michael Porter Jr. helped shoulder the scoring load after Jamal Murray was lost for the season, but he has hit a road bump in recent games. Whether it’s a lingering back issue or the defensive intensity of the Suns, Porter doesn’t look completely comfortable in this series.

After posting 26 points in back-to-back games to close out Portland, Porter has scored a total of 26 points through two games against the Suns. His three-point shot has been off as he’s only connected on five of his 17 attempts from deep in this series. The juice is a little high on this prop, but we like it regardless.

Nikola Jokic Over 11.5 Rebounds (-108, FOXBet Sportsbook)

Nikola Jokic needs to dominate the boards for the Nuggets to advance past the Suns. Deandre Ayton has given him problems inside, but we expect him to figure it out on his home court. Jokic has only gone over 11.5 rebounds twice in these playoffs which might make it seem like we are chasing on this prop, but we are expecting MVP Jokic to show up in a big way on Friday night.
