DraftKings Sportsbook will run three Super Bowl-specific promos for 2021.
New users will be able to double their money if a touchdown is scored in the game, on a max bet up to $50. Additionally, DraftKings will offer a 25% profit boost on Super Bowl prop bets. And then during the game, following two commercials DraftKings will air, they will run a fourth quarter prediction challenge with up to $55 million in prizes.
Here’s everything you need to know about DraftKings’ three big Super Bowl promos.
1) Double Your Money
The headline offer for DraftKings, in addition to their standard $1,000 deposit match, is a Double Your Money promotion, which will offer +100 odds on a touchdown to be scored.
Given that the over/under for this one is set to 56.5, the odds of this happening are extremely likely.
A max bet of $50 will be offered up at+100 odds and pay out $100 if any touchdown is scored in the game.
This is as close to a no-brainer offer as it gets. While it may seem like a can’t win proposition for DraftKings, this is a way to bring new customers into its sportsbook app by offering them what will effectively be free cash.
Once there, DraftKings Sportsbook is banking on players liking what they see and laying more action with them.
2) Bet Profit Boost
One of the most popular ways to bet on the Super Bowl is through prop bets. There are no shortage of these, from the ridiculous coin toss and Gatorade color to the obvious, like throwing yards for a quarterback.
DraftKings Sportsbook understands this and is offering up to all users an up to 25% profit boost on some of the most popular props.
These include a 25% profit boost on:
- total points
- successful two-point conversion
- 25% profit boost on first team to score
- Patrick Mahomes to throw 3+ touchdown passes
- Tom Brady to throw 3+ touchdown passes
The max bet on any of these is $25. But given how popular some of these props would be anyway, a 25% profit boost is just a little bit extra sweetener from DraftKings.
3) Fourth Quarter Prediction Challenge
Last, but certainly not least, will be DraftKings Sportsbook’s Fourth Quarter Prediction Challenge, which will offer up $55 million in prizes, including $1 million to the winner and anywhere from $3 to $25,000 in instant cash prizes.
DraftKings will run two commercials during the second and third quarters, respectively, advertising its live in-game prediction challenge which will be available to users in all states.
While their sports betting app and daily fantasy product is only available in select states, the prediction challenge will be available to users everywhere since it’s a free-to-play contest.
There’s no reason not to sign up and play this.
For DraftKings, they, along with partner Verizon, will spend a significant amount of money on Super Bowl ads, estimated to be $5.6 million, and then even more on the prizes.
But they will also use this to build a massive new customer database, which they will then be able to market to as sports betting continues its rollout across the country.
There you have it. These are the three headline offers DraftKings Sportsbook is offering for the Super Bowl.
New users who sign up here can get a $1,000 deposit match and claim any of the offers listed in this post.
