In a tier of his own, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller notched his 10th sack of the season against the New York Jets, his sixth different season achieving that mark, making him the first Bronco in franchise history to do so.

For Miller, in his seventh season, he says his head coach is wisely keeping him and the team fresh in preparation for their Thursday night affair against the Indianapolis Colts, and also shared his thoughts on Thursday Night Football as a whole.

“It’s part of the game; coach (Vance Joseph) has done a great job at keeping us fresh, and keeping the game mental this week,” Miller said. “I think that’s what every smart head coach should do if you’re playing on Thursday — you want to get your team fresh, and that’s exactly what we’re over here doing.”

Miller also spoke about what kind of opinion he will have on Thursday night games when the discussion of the new CBA comes around in 2020.

“You got to really weigh all the pros and cons. There’s some good that comes with it, there’s some bad that comes with it,” Miller said.
