The Denver Broncos have lost several key defenders this offseason, and it looks like they could be losing one more, at least for a few games.

TMZ Sports obtained video of Derek Wolfe, Broncos star defensive lineman, throwing a knockout punch during a nightclub brawl.

According to TMZ Sports, the guy Wolfe attacked had begun trash talking him and his friends, and at some point, Wolfe was struck in the face with a glass bottle, causing him to leave the club bloodied.

No cops were called to the scene, and nobody was arrested.

The Denver Post spoke with a league official, regarding the incident.

“We take a look at any such incident,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said about whether Wolfe would face any additional punishment under the NFL’s personal conduct policy. “But it doesn’t appear on its face to be something that would lead to league discipline.”

Wolfe was suspended for the start of the 2015 season for violating the league’s performance enhancing drug policy.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, Wolfe has already discussed the situation with the Broncos.

He just better be glad he already signed that four-year, $36.7 million contract.
