Rumors began to spread last week that if Von Miller can’t strike a long-term deal with the Denver Broncos before the July 15 deadline, he may decide to sit out the whole season, ensuring he has the ability to test his value on the free agent market next year.

When asked by Chelsea Handler on her new Netflix show, Miller shot down the idea.

“I feel like we still have a month. I just can’t see myself with any other team,” Miller said. “My boys — T.J. Ward, Aqib Talib, Kayvon Webster, DeMarcus Ware, all those guys — I’ve built a very close relationship with all those guys, and I’d like to continue to build that relationship for the rest of my career.”

And when asked why he’s yet to sign a contract, Miller made it very clear.

“I would like a little bit more stability,” Miller said. “I want to be a Bronco forever, and I just want the feeling to be the same for the Broncos.”

It’s hard to argue that. Hopefully Von is right and a deal get done in the next month.
