One of the major storylines early in the season has been injuries.

The Nuggets haven’t had a game yet where they’ve been able to get a glimpse of the full roster, as at least someone has been absent from the lineup in each game so far this season.

Wilson Chandler has been battling through a hamstring injury, but has been playing some of his best basketball as of late.

Gary Harris started the season hurt with a groin injury and then came back and played well before getting hurt again, this time with an ankle that’s likely to keep him out over a month.

Darrell Arthur has sat out most of the season with a knee injury despite being available for the past two games.

But the Nuggets are starting to get things together as they’ve welcomed back Will Barton. Barton has missed the last nine games with a sprained left ankle, but he made a return for Sunday night’s game against the Utah Jazz.

“It’s great to have him back,” Jusuf Nurkic said after the game. “I wish that he stayed healthy, but it was good to have him back out there for sure.”

Barton in his first game back played 19 minutes and scored seven points and had three rebounds.

Barton gives the Nuggets much-needed scoring from the wing position.
