The Broncos lost Orlando Franklin and Manny Ramirez to free agency and Ryan Clady to injury. Entering training camp, there are four new starters on the offensive line. Which of these offensive linemen concerns you most?

The Broncos have been saying for months they want to work out a long-term teal with Demaryius Thomas. Yet, at the start of July no deal is done and he didn’t attend any offseason workouts. When will Thomas rejoin the team?

C.J. Anderson put up Pro Bowl-worthy numbers last year… in less than half a season. With a run-first offense and a full 16 games this year, his production could be off the charts. How many rushing yards will he have this year?

With the selection of Shane Ray in the first round of the draft, the Broncos added another weapon in the sack department. All-Pros DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller are hungry, too. Who will have more sacks this year?

With the NFL record for most career touchdown passes in the rearview mirror, Peyton can get back to the business at hand of trying to win a Super Bowl. Still, one of the games all-time prolific passers is going to get his. How many passing TDs will Manning throw?

Rumor has circulated that the Broncos might “experiment” with giving Peyton Manning a week or two – okay, a quarter or two – off during the regular season. Brock Osweiler is chomping at the bit to show what he can do. How many completions will Osweiler have?
Question 8: Can Chris Harris Jr. stay perfect?
Chris Harris Jr. cemented his place last year among the League’s best cornerbacks. (Some might say he is the League’s best.) In 2014, amazingly, he did not allow a single scoring pass. When will Harris Jr. finally surrender a touchdown?

Because of injuries to other players and through his own hard work Brandon Marshall came out of nowhere last year to lead the Broncos in tackles. But health and a revamped defensive scheme could open things up for other players to step in and take away the title. Who will lead the team in tackles?

Last year the Broncos carried two kickers on their roster. TWO! That won’t happen under Gary Kubiak. Someone will have to kick off and place kick, or kick off and punt. That’s going to leave someone out of a job. Which of these special teamers will make the 53-man roster?

At 12-4, the Broncos last year had their worst season with Peyton Manning under (or a few yards behind) center. They’ve got a juggernaut schedule this year that includes New England, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. What will the Broncos record be?

Picking a running back for your fantasy team who plays with Peyton Manning might not seem like a wise choice, but Manning’s got Gary Kubiak as his coach now. You can bet at lest one of Denver’s backs will be asked to punch it in when it counts. Who will have the most rushing TDs?
Question 14: Is it too early to plant a seed?
The Broncos have never had to travel in the AFC Playoffs in the Peyton Manning era. Partly because they had home field advantage, partly because they were upset (twice) at home in the Divisional round. Home field advantage matters to Denver. Where will the Broncos finish in the AFC?

Ty Sambrailo looks like a lock to make the 53-man roster. Another three Rams (and one CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolf) think they have a legitimate shot at joining their fellow Fort Collins grad. Which of these Colorado State alums has the best chance of making the 53-man roster?
Question 16: You can’t punt on this one…
The Broncos averaged 7.2 yards per punt return in 2014, good for a tie for 20th in the league. Isaiah Burse carried most of the load with 29 returns. Wes Welker settled under 11 and Emmanuel Sanders had one. Fans don’t expect Trindon Holliday, but they do need better than 7.2 yards per return. Who do you want returning punts?

Question 17: Pick your take…
Peyton Manning is a master of keeping the ball out of opponents’ hands, allowing just 36 in his three years with the Broncos. The Broncos defense, meanwhile, picked-off opposing QBs 51 times over that same span. With another year under their belt as a unit, there could be more to come. Then again, Manning is a year older and his totals rose from 10 in 2103 to 15 in 2014. Who will have more interceptions?

T.J. Ward has lived up to every expectation put upon him since signing with the Broncos. He appears hungrier than ever for that elusive Super Bowl win. But he’s going to need some help. Who should start opposite Ward?

Terrance “Pot Roast” Knighton is gone. The Broncos allowed him to walk in free agency, leaving a big hole (literally) to fill in the middle of the defensive line. Who should be the starting nose tackle?

Despite all their difficulties on the offensive line, in 2014 the Broncos allowed a league-best 17 sacks. That may be more a testament to Peyton Manning than the O-line – something that will be put to the test when this revamped unit sees real game action. The Broncos were 8-0 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High last season, then Andrew Luck and the Colts rolled into town and left them cleaning out their lockers too soon in the playoffs. They face one of their toughest home schedules in recent memory, including tilts with Baltimore, Green Bay and New England during the regular season. How many home wins will the Broncos have?

Road losses proved to be a major part of the Broncos undoing in 2014. Sure, they lost at home in the playoffs, but it was road losses at St. Louis and Cincinnati that really cast the shadow of doubt on Denver long before Andrew Luck strolled into Mile High in January. A late test at Pittsburgh could show the true mettle of this team. How many road wins will the Broncos have?

Question 23: Who’s going to step up first?
Gary Kubiak made it very clear during minicamp and OTAs that he’s going to expect production from his rookies. Ty Sambrailo and Shane Ray have big expectations, Karl Schmitz has a big leg and Max Garcia, well, he’s just big. Which rookie will have the biggest impact?
Question 24: Can I be your hero (Peyton)?
Just because Gary Kubiak wants to run first and execute a zone blocking scheme doesn’t mean Peyton Manning won’t have a chance to rack up some numbers. The guy holds the record for most TDs in a season and for a career, for crying out loud. One of his main targets from last year, Julius Thomas, has opted for a big payday in football purgatory (a.k.a. Jacksonville), leaving plenty of TDs open for the taking. Who will have the most receiving touchdowns?

Question 25: Paging Mr. Irrelevant…
Remember when we laughed about the Broncos signing “the other” Brandon Marshall? Remember when that “other” guy went on to lead the team in tackles? There’s one player every year (see Danny Trevathan, Julius Thomas, etc.) who comes out of the woodwork to have a monster season. Who will surprise us with a big year?
Question 26: Can they catch Buffalo?
The Broncos posted a very respectable 41 team sacks in 2014. But the Bills led the league with 54. With two All-Pro edge rushers and rookie Shane Ray, the Denver D wants to make a run at the No. 1 spot in the League. They may not vie for the all-time record of 72, set by the ’84 Bears, but 54 could be in their sights. How many sacks will the defense have this season?

As if the Broncos didn’t have it hard enough with their non-divisional home schedule, they will face major tests on the road this year. Chief among those are the Colts, Steelers and a date with former head coach John Fox in Chicago. Who is the toughest non-divisional road opponent?

The Broncos could have some axes to grind if they make it to the Super Bowl. They want another crack at Seattle. And on the biggest stage possible they certainly would love to show John Fox who was really behind their winning ways. And who wouldn’t want to see a Manning Bowl? The options are almost too wonderful to choose from. Who would you most like to see the Broncos face in the Super Bowl?
