Aqib Talib poked around and got himself a one-game suspension

It looks like Aqib Talib’s poke did a lot more than just hit Dwayne Allen in the eye; apparently, he poked a hole in his wallet, too.

Talib continues to stand by the defense that his Three Stooges-like eye gauge was an honest mistake, but I don’t think anybody’s buying that.

Yeah, if that’s an accident, then Talib must be the worst Operation player of all time; a two-year-old has better hand-eye coordination.

The Broncos just have to hope that Talib’s finger punch doesn’t cost the Broncos another game. Luckily, they’ll be facing off against the Chiefs, who, aside from Jeremy Maclin, don’t exactly have a record-setting wide receiving corps — unless you consider not catching a touchdown for an entire season record setting.

Talib will appeal the suspension, but he’s fighting an uphill battle.
