Breaking down Von Miller’s greatest sack dances

five most important players to a Broncos victory

There are a lot of great football players in the NFL, but I don’t know if there’s anyone as fun to watch as Von Miller.

When he turns that corner, slams the quarterback into the ground and then slowly rises up, there’s only one thing on everybody’s mind: what dance does he have planned this time?

And after 52 career sacks, Von has yet to disappoint.

Let’s break down Von’s three greatest sack dances of all time:

Honorable Mention: The Snatch and Run

I’m not sure if this can technically be considered a dance, but it’s easily one of the most entertaining celebrations I’ve seen in a long time.

Sack quarterback, grab ball, run away. It’s like stealing candy from a baby.

3. The Swim Move

For a pass rusher, the swim move is one of the most effective ways to get to the quarterback. For Von Miller, though, the swim move doesn’t stop once the quarterback is picking turf out of his face mask.

2. The Shmoney Dance

A sack dance is one thing, but a safety dance? Well, that’s a whole different beast.

And after brining down Russell Wilson in the end zone, Von hit a home run with his version of the Schmoney Dance.

1. The Thrust

Could it be anything else? Not only did this dance grab the national attention, it grabbed Miller a hefty fine.

But the way I see it, an $11,000 fine is well worth it when it comes to art like this.

Bonus: “Bring It Around Town”

You know, if “The Thrust” becomes too expensive for Von, he can always just revert back to this classic.
