Demaryius Thomas wearing anything but the orange and blue will be a strange sight for the Broncos faithful, but that will be the case when Denver hosts the Houston Texans on Sunday.

After being traded to Houston on Tuesday, Oct. 30, Thomas will make his Texans debut at Broncos Stadium at Mile High in the Week 9 matchup between AFC squads.

Fans are expected to welcome DT back with open arms as the team will be honoring the veteran wide receiver prior to kickoff. According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos will be playing a video tribute of Thomas’ greatest accomplishments, and the team modified a previously hanging banner to thank him.

In 125 games over nine NFL seasons, Thomas racked up 665 receptions, 9,055 receiving yards and 60 touchdowns. While there were many memorable moments during Thomas’ tenure with the Broncos, his game-winning touchdown in the 2011-12 playoffs will forever live in on in the hearts of Broncos Country.

The Broncos-Texans game will kickoff at 2:05 p.m. MT.
