Denver will face the Detroit Pistons at Pepsi Center with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. MST.

The Nuggets enter the game with a 39-18 record and will look win their second consecutive game.

Betting trends:

Denver enters the game with the second-best record in the Western Conference, whereas the Pistons sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with a 19-40 record.

Denver opened as -12 favorites, but that number has spiked to -13 with 81% of public money funneling towards the Nuggets.

Detroit has struggled recently and is currently on a five-game losing streak, which includes losses to the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets.

The Pistons are just not that good of a team. Detroit is averaging just over 107 points per contest, and their defense is pedestrian at best. Outside of Derrick Rose, there is not much talent on Detroit’s roster.

Denver’s defense has been solid throughout the year, allowing under 106 points per game on average. With a struggling Pistons team coming to town, Denver’s defense should thrive.

Both teams have struggled ATS this season, and the Nuggets have not covered in three consecutive games. Detroit last played Sunday versus the Portland Trailblazers, losing 107-104, although it did cover the spread +5.5.

The over/under for Tuesday’s game is set at 214, a two-point drop from where it opened. 51% of public bets are heading towards the under.

The two teams last clashed on February 2 with the Pistons earning a 128-123 overtime victory in Detroit.

Injuries:
