According to ESPN Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, there is optimism that Denver Nuggets veteran point guard Isaiah Thomas will make his season debut prior to the NBA All-Star break.

Wojnarowski states that Thomas is gaining momentum in his rehabilitation and that the hope is he could return to play during the Nuggets two-game home stand between February 11-13.

Thomas has been out since last March following hip surgery and their is “strong confidence” that he will return no later than the Nuggets first game after the All-Star break. That game comes against the Mavericks in Dallas, while the Nuggets two-game homestand is against the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings.
