The Mile High team is now the five-and-a-half mile team. Steamboat Springs native Kim Hess summited Mount Everest last week and took along a small flag to rep her team.

Hess is on a mission to summit the highest peaks on all seven continents, a feat only 350 people, and less than 50 women have done according to her website. Checking Everest off of that list only leaves Mount Vinson in Antartica and Australia’s Mount Kosciusko.

After she is done with her Seven Summits mission, Hess will turn her attention to the North and South Poles. After she traverses both, she will become the youngest person to ever complete the Adventurer’s Grand Slam.

And it’s clear that where ever she goes, the Broncos will be right there with her.

Way to go Kim!
