Colorado Rockies rookie shortstop Trevor Story’s season may be on hold at the moment, but that won’t stop him from cheering on his teammates.

Story underwent successful surgery earlier in day to repair a torn UCL in his left thumb.

The recovery time for Story is 6-8 weeks.

Prior to being sidelined Story led the National League in homeruns with 27 and ranked sixth in RBIs with 72.
