Minnesota’s defense is gaining a reputation as a very tough group. In back-to-back weeks the Vikings defense has raddled two very good quarterbacks in Phillip Rivers and Matthew Stafford. Through three weeks Minnesota has racked up six sacks and 31 tackles for a loss.

While the Vikings are being described as a violent defense they aren’t a dirty team. Dawn Mitchell of Fox 9 in Minnesota joined Afternoon Drive with Eric Goodman and Zach Fogg to talk about how deep the Vikings are on defense.

“They are furious and it’s one wave after another”, said Mitchell.

It’s a defense that can consistently get after the quarterback and presents Denver with all kinds of challenges. Listen to the full interview below.
