Hockey is back! The puck drops for real at the Pepsi Center tonight as the Avalanche host the Wild.

Mark Moser, the radio voice of the Colorado Avalanche, joined Renaud Notaro and Big Dee White yesterday to preview the season. Moser said there are plenty of things for Avs fans to be excited about this season. Chief amongst them is the progression of Colorado’s core. He feels Matt Duchene, Gabriel Landeskog and company are ready to take the next step.

Moser cautioned that despite defensive upgrades making a run at a division title is going to be tough because the Central division is the toughest division in hockey.
