The NHL announced Thursday that the Avalanche have been shut down through Feb. 11 due to players recently added to the COVID protocol list. This includes the postponement of four additional games — and five total.

Gabriel Landeskog was added to the list Thursday, one day after teammate Tyson Jost joined six Minnesota Wild players.

Minnesota was shut down on Wednesday, in the midst of a four-game series against the Avs. Colorado was scheduled to host the Wild on Thursday, but that game was postponed due to the Wild’s shut down.

The Avs were also scheduled to travel to St. Louis for consecutive road games against the Blues on Saturday and Sunday before hosting the Arizona Coyotes at Ball Arena on Tuesday and Thursday.

Colorado begins a four-game series against the Vegas Golden Knights on Feb. 14 at T-Mobile Arena.
