REPORT: C.J. Anderson will get the starting nod for Super Bowl 50

Broncos offense

For the first time since Week 6, C.J. Anderson will be the starting running back for the Denver Broncos.

Despite leading the league in rushing since Week 8 of the season, Ronnie Hillman has remained the Broncos’ top rusher; until the AFC Championship game, Anderson never received more than 15 carries in any game.

That said, throughout the year, Anderson has been ever-present during the most special moments of the Broncos’ season, with long, game-changing rushes. And as we detailed earlier in the week, he is one of the five Denver Broncos with a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl MVP.

We’ll see if this opportunity enables Anderson to go out with a true Super Bowl performance.
