WATCH: Demaryius Thomas is rebounding in a HUGE way

Denver Broncos regular season awards

Even Demaryius Thomas would admit that last week was one of the worst performances of his career, but after Ronnie Hillman fumbled the ball away on the Broncos first drive, DT rebounded in a big way, scoring the Broncos first touchdown in 25 series.

On the drive, Brock Osweiler and the Denver offense converted on all three of their third downs, which included the 18-yard touchdown pass to Thomas.

To close out the second quarter, Thomas stiff-armed his way to his second touchdown of the day, giving the Broncos a 27-10 lead with just under two minutes remaining in the first half.

With the touchdown, Thomas moved into a tie for third place on the Broncos all-time TD receptions list. Not bad company to join in Ed McCaffrey…

In a game that was supposed to be about the matchup between the Steelers offense and the Broncos defense, it has been Denver’s offense that is having a true statement performance through the first half.

Brock Osweiler: 14-18, 214 yards and 3 touchdowns

Emmanuel Sanders: 8 receptions, 139 yards and 1 touchdown

Demaryius Thomas: 4 receptions, 52 yards and 2 touchdowns

Ronnie Hillman: 44 yards on 4.9 yards per carry

Broncos country couldn’t have asked for much more.
