It’s been awhile since Jusuf Nurkic has seen extensive playing time for the Denver Nuggets, but since Kenneth Faried has been out dealing with a lower back strain, the big man from Bosnia has been showing up and showing out.
Last night, while the Nuggets eventually ended up falling to the East-leading Cavaliers, it was Nurkic who had the most memorable moment of the matchup.

There are very few people in the world who have the cojones to stare down LeBron James like that, let alone a guy averaging seven points in 14 minutes per game. Nurkic, though, has proven that he plays no favorites; he’ll trash talk anyone, no matter how famous or talented they may be.
Like Kobe Bryant, for instance …
