Peyton Manning is officially the greatest quarterback — at least statistically — to ever play the game of football.

After a one week delay, as well as an interception and fumble to start the game, Manning surpassed Brett Favre’s all-time best 71,838 career passing yards with this 4-yard pass to Ronnie Hillman to start Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Manning already surpassed Favre’s touchdown record last season, and with a win today, he’ll surpass Favre’s all-time win record, too.

Four years ago, when Manning first came to Denver, these records looked out of reach for a quarterback coming off multiple neck surgeries, but The Sheriff defied the odds, amassing over 17,000 yards, 103 touchdowns and   32 wins as a Denver Bronco.

After today, the only thing left on Peyton Manning’s to-do list is a second Super Bowl championship.
