On Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, the Denver Broncos suffered their seventh-straight loss, with poor offense once again the biggest culprit.

Bill Musgrave took over the offensive coordinator position, calling his first game for the Broncos after former offensive coordinator Mike McCoy was fired. Musgrave said that from what he saw, quarterback Paxton Lynch did a fine job while he was on the field.

“To play so well, so early, was surprising to me,” Musgrave said.

Musgrave was asked if Trevor Siemian, starter for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, suits what he wants to do better.

“No, I think we’ve got a system that can be tailored or customized to different running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and offensive lines, and quarterback,” Musgrave said. “I think you’ll see Trevor doing a lot of things that Paxton was asked to do, and we’ll try to expand that as we go again to get more production.”
