The Denver Broncos have a clean bill of health as they prepare for Sunday’s AFC West divisional showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers. After some players were listed as limited on Wednesday, what did Thursday’s practice report look like?

Denver Broncos fully healthy at Thursday’s practice

The Denver Broncos have dealt with some injuries this season, but not to the extent that we’ve previously seen over the course of the last three seasons. Outside of several key players on injured reserve, the Broncos have been functional under new strength and conditioning coach Dan Dalrymple and Vice President of Player Health and Performance Beau Lowery.

Player recovery has been remarkably better in comparison to years past, and overall, most player feedback suggests that things have changed in that department.

After having several players listed as limited participants in Wednesday’s practice coming off the heels of Sunday’s loss to the Houston Texans, the Broncos saw everybody on the injury report upgrade to full participant status.

Following practice, the Broncos announced their official injury report status:

Full Participants:

Surtain was the one player everybody has had their eye on this week after he suffered a hyper-extended knee in Sunday’s game against the Texans. He missed eight total snaps on Sunday but returned and finished the duration of the game and had a key pass breakup against Nico Collins on third and long.

He’ll likely draw the main coverage responsibility on Los Angeles Chargers star wide receiver Keenan Allen on Sunday. Having a fully health Surtain is a positive note for Denver’s defense, who will look to slow down the connection between Allen and Justin Herbert.

Everybody else on the injury report was spotted at practice and they moved well during team stretch and the team’s individual period which was open to media for viewing.
