On Monday, the new Denver Broncos uniforms will be officially revealed.

But, we’ve been witnessing leaks and best guesses from all across Broncos Country on Twitter for months. One in particular has the team wearing white helmets, but that was before the league announced they’ll allow three helmets per team this year.

And with three days to go until the official unveiling, we have more leaks from Broncos insiders.

Denver Broncos uniforms will include navy, white, and old-school blue helmets

The good news for Broncos fans is it’s a “best of both worlds” solution as far as the helmets are concerned.

Many fans went wild for the “snowcapped” Denver D helmets last year. No doubt, the unboxing process and how they shared them with media members was incredibly well done by the team.

And as an alternate, the white helmet is great. But, it goes away from Broncos history if they were to use it as the primary.

That’s where the new three helmets comes into play and will likely make all fans happy.

According to Benjamin Allbright and Nick Furgeson of 850 KOA, Denver will don three helmets this year: One navy like we’ve seen since 1997, one white with no stripe and the same logo, and one with old-school blue to go with the Denver D logo.

This is a great solution for fans who really pined for the old look from the 70s–90s, with that lighter than royal blue helmet and the dynamic D logo.

Also, this could be what the white helmets end up looking like:

Note: There’s also rumblings that the navy helmets could have a matte finish, like the Vikings ones. That would be spectacular.

Denver Broncos uniforms to include triangle “mountains” on shoulders

Allbright didn’t just drop details about the helmets, but some about the jersey tops themselves, too.

For months, we’ve heard on Twitter about how the team wanted to incorporate elements that pay homage to Colorado. Specifically, to the altitude and the Rocky Mountains.

Some concept jersey mock-ups include “5280” on the pants, and that’s still a possibility. The Denver Nuggets leaned into the altitude this year with their City Edition jerseys, and both teams have always played altitude sickness into the hype. The Mile High City is a tough place for opponents to play, and that altitude definitely plays into it.

What we do know is the “mountains” on the shoulders are apparently going to be a thing.

This concept from UniWatch, is a mock-up of what the shoulders could look like:

Denver Broncos mock-up jerseys show a white helmet, blue triangles with white background on the shoulders.

The shoulders or sleeves make the Denver Broncos uniforms look like something out of a DII college program. At least, if they look like this.

It’s an attempt to bring the mountains into the jersey tops, and just seems forced.

However, it does have some historical connection to the team’s jerseys from 1965. Those ones, with the crazy horse on the helmet, had white and blue shoulder pads/sleeves as well.

In that way, it again pays homage to the team’s past, like the alternate Denver D logo helmets.

While the team got some things right, there’s sure to be a lot of discussion and possibly some discord in when they’re officially released on Monday.
