It’s been a losing streak for the ages for the Denver Broncos, now seven in a row after their 21-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

The Broncos haven’t experienced a losing streak this bad in decades — five of them, to be exact. Coach Lou Saban’s Broncos won their season-opener before being swallowed up by a nine-game losing streak. Let’s flash back to 1967, when the Beatles dominated the charts and everyday life seemed much, much different.

America wasn’t even on the moon the last time the Broncos lost this many straight. One of the best selling vehicles was the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, a slick, performance machine that in no way resembles the Broncos’ inept offensive attack behind quarterback Paxton Lynch, who left the game with an ankle injury before being replaced — and thoroughly outplayed by — Trevor Siemian.
