Christian Ponder’s tenure was short-lived as the Broncos released the journeymen quarterback yesterday. Ponder was nothing more than an insurance policy for the Broncos. With that being the case is there anything that can be gleaned from his release?
The Morning Mayhem crew says no but Notaro and Big Dee disagree.
It’s simple, Trevor Siemian is better than Ponder. Danny and Cello believe that once Gary Kubiak got a closer look at Ponder he realized Siemian would gave the Broncos the best chance to win if Osweiler went down. No reason to worry about the Broncos cutting Ponder.
