If the Broncos don’t land Cousins… then what?

Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins looks to be set for free agency, and perhaps the biggest payday in NFL history… and the Denver Broncos might give it to him.

But what if they don’t? What if general manager John Elway either won’t — or can’t — land linebacker Von Miller’s favorite quarterback? Will any of the league’s other free agents fit the bill, or should the Broncos trust to the draft process to find 2018’s starting quarterback?

In the latest edition of the Broncos Blitz podcast, hosts Ronnie K and Shawn Drotar evaluate a handful of other passers, ranging from Case Keenum and Tyrod Taylor to A.J. McCarron and Sam Bradford, to see if any of the other, cheaper signal-callers might be capable of turning the Broncos around in short order.
