Still looking for a solid third wide receiver option, the Denver Broncos selected Louisiana Tech wide receiver Carlos Henderson with the 82nd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. They landed one who also figures to be a factor on special teams.

Henderson played three seasons at Louisiana Tech. He’s a workhorse. Even though he had ascended to starting status, he continued to play special teams for Louisiana Tech in his final season. It paid off. He ended up as Conference USA’s Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Year.

Henderson had an impressive senior season. He caught 82 passes for 1535 yards and caught 19 touchdowns. He also rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns.
