It’s not just hyperbole to say senior quarterback Sefo Liufau and the Colorado Buffaloes face a big test next week when they travel to face No. 4/5 Michigan. But two dominant victories have Liufau and the Buffs feeling confident as they head to the Big House.

Liufau has guided his team to a combined 100 points in the team’s first two contests of the 2016 campaign, while the Buffs’ defense has surrendered just 14. Michigan, meanwhile, has put up similar numbers against their first two opponents, scoring 114 and allowing 17.

Michigan defeated Hawaii 63-3 in their opener and UCF 51-14 this week. Colorado fans will remember that last season the Buffs opened with a 28-20 loss at Hawaii. This year has been a different tune, however, as CU has rolled against both CSU and Idaho State.

Liufau has been a huge part of the turnaround to start 2016. In two games he has passed for 522 yards and three touchdowns. He has also rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown, a 19-yard scramble for a score in Saturday’s 56-7 win over Idaho State.
