The Denver Broncos on Wednesday claimed safety Will Parks off waivers (Philadelphia) and activated defensive end Shelby Harris from the reserve/COVID-19 list, it was announced. Cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding transaction.

Parks (6-1, 194 pounds) is a fifth-year player from the University of Arizona who has appeared in 68 career games (18 starts) with Philadelphia (2020) and Denver (2016-20). Selected by the Broncos in the sixth round (219th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft, he spent the first four seasons of his career with Denver before signing with Philadelphia this offseason.

Parks’ career totals include 145 tackles (101 solo), one sack (7 yds.) four interceptions (23 yds.), 13 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. In 2020 with the Eagles, he saw action in six games (3 starts) and contributed 11 tackles (9 solo).

A three-year starter at Arizona, Parks totaled 197 tackles (130 solo), one sack (7 yds.), four interceptions (102 yds.) and 24 passes defensed in college. He is a Philadelphia native and was born on July 29, 1994.

Harris (#96, 6-2, 290 pounds) is a sixth-year defensive lineman who started all seven games played with Denver this season before being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He has registered 23 tackles (15 solo), 2.5 sacks, three passes defensed and one forced fumble on the season.

Callahan (#29, 5-9, 188 pounds) is a sixth-year player who has started all 10 games played in 2020 with the Broncos after missing all of the 2019 season with a foot injury. This season, he has recorded 45 tackles (36 solo), two interceptions, five passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
