The Denver Broncos wrapped up Thursday’s practice at the Centura Training Center as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings in the primetime spotlight. Could the Broncos be without two potential impact players on Sunday?

Denver Broncos injury report from Thursday

With Sunday Night’s game fast approaching, the Denver Broncos have had a shorter week of game prep following their win against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.

After having a relatively healthy injury report last week, the Broncos saw several names added to the list for this week.

Broncos could potentially be without Ben Powers vs. Vikings

Perhaps one of the more concerning injuries coming out of Monday Night’s win against the Bills is left guard Ben Powers. While Powers finished Monday’s game against the Bills, he did not participate in Thursday’s practice with a foot injury.

He was spotted on the side field alongside safety P.J. Locke, who also suffered an injury in Monday’s game.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton shared his thoughts on Powers’ injury and is monitoring it closely ahead of Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

“It was something from the game,” Payton said of Powers’ injury. “We’ll see how it goes tomorrow, and we’ll see where he is at.”

Locke suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter against the Bills and did not return on Monday Night. He was listed as a DNP as well on Thursday.

If Locke were to miss Sunday’s game, the Broncos would find themselves fortunate to have veteran safety Kareem Jackson back into the mix after he was activated this week after being suspended for the last two games.

Other players listed on the injury report include players like Jerry Jeudy, Baron Browning, Ronnie Perkins, and Marvin Mims.

Full:

  • Wide receiver Marvin Mims (ankle) fully participated.
  • Outside linebacker Ronnie Perkins (quad) fully participated.
  • Outside linebacker Baron Browning (wrist/knee) fully participated.

Limited:

  • Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (hip) was a limited participant on Thursday.

The Denver Broncos will have one final practice on Friday before they face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
