Day 4 of Denver Broncos Training Camp 2016 is in the books and on the first day in full pads things got a little heated. Shawn Drotar and Jake Marsing of 5280 Sports Network were at UCHealth Training Center for all the action.
Things were chippy as the Broncos were in full pads and laying some real hits for the first time since camp opened on Thursday. Drotar and Marsing were surprised things are already getting contentious, as it’s a little early for fighting at camp. Usually tempers don’t boil over until at least a couple of weeks in.
Broncos fans turned out in their largest numbers of camp so far, with 4,741 in attendance to watch the closest thing we’ve seen to live action since the Super Bowl.
