The 7-5 Steelers are six-point betting favorites over the 2-10 Patriots. While five games separate the Patriots and Steelers in the standings, they have more in common than you might expect.

Neither QB will start tonight, with Bailey Zappe replacing the benched Jones and Mitchell Trubisky filling in for the injured Pickett.
The similarities continue with anemic offenses and shutdown defenses. New England averages an NFL-worst 12.3 points per game, though the Steelers’ 16.0 PPG isn’t much better. Defensively, Pittsburgh is sixth with 19.1 PA/G, and New England is 15th with 21.2, but the Pats have also allowed a league-low 46 points since Week 9.
