John Elway and the Denver Broncos were rumored to be looking to add depth at tight end in the 2015 NFL. In the 3rd round the Broncos found their man in Jeff Heuerman.

At 6’5″, 250 lbs Heuerman is a tight end that can be relied on in the passing game and the rushing game. During Ohio State’s championship season Herman only caught 17 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns. While those numbers aren’t impressive he played most of last season battling an injury that limited his ability to make an impact in the the passing game.

Heuerman played four years at Ohio State and finished his career with 52 catches, 792 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns.
