Attempting to snap a losing streak that rivals only 1967’s nine-game losing streak, the Denver Broncos travel to Miami to face the Dolphins on Sunday.

For wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing season. In an interview with Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7 inside the Broncos’ locker room, Sanders explained why.

“This is one of the roughest seasons of my career,” Sanders said. “I’m not just talking NFL, I’m talking about ever since I started playing football. I’ve never been a part of a seven-game losing streak of any team that I’ve ever been a part of.”

“At the same time, it’s a test of my character, of my manhood,” Sanders continued. “I’ve got to stay strong and understand that it might be lows right now, but the highs are coming back. I’m looking forward to those highs, because I’m definitely going to appreciate them a lot more.”
