Well, basketball community, Nuggets fans, Wyoming Fans and Denver lovers, here’s your opportunity to help one of your own.

Former Chaparral High School stand out, Wyoming collegiate breakout star and Denver Nuggets Summer league sensation, Josh Adams, suffered serious injuries in a car accident this week and needs assistance with his medical expenses.

The Adams family has set up a gofundme account, with this note:

“As many of you know, Josh was involved in a very serious car accident, in which he suffered numerous injuries with the most significant being fractured C5 and C6 vertabra. After speaking with the emergency responders, and the neurosurgeon, we were informed how lucky we are to still have Josh with us today. As you can imagine, medical costs for this type of injury are substantial, so through the advice and support of dear friends we are utizing gofundme to reach out to freinds, fans, and supporters of Josh to help raise funds to offset the medical costs.

We realize that Josh is not only part of our family, but he’s also part of the Wyoming Cowboys family, The Chaparral HS Family, and so many others. As you know, Josh has always been one to give EVERYTHING he had to bring home a victory for his teammates, fans, and for the state, and now we are hoping that you can help support him in getting through this very tough time.

Unfortunately at this time Josh will not be able to fulfill the contract he signed with Avtodor in Russia immediately this fall, however knowing the fighter that Josh is, we are extremely hopeful he will make a full recovery and join the team as soon as possible.

As a family, we cannot possibly express to you how truly thankful we are for your support over the years. While I know that Josh has touched the lives of many, it pales in comparison to how much you all have touched our lives.

Thank you all so very much for your support.”

Colorado, let’s rally behind a person who has shown his love and has given his all to this state that we love by either donating or sharing this link in all ways. Every single cent helps.

Get better, Josh!
