According to Cameron Wolfe of The Denver Post, the Dallas police department has completed their four-month investigation into Aqib Talib’s gun incident in Dallas back in June and have concluded that Talib did in fact shoot himself in the leg.

According to the the report, charges will not be filed against Talib, but Wolfe says Talib could still face repercussions from the NFL.

“Brian McCarthy, the NFL’s vice president of communications, said they are still reviewing the incident for any possible league discipline,” Wolfe wrote. “Talib would be subject to possible discipline under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.”

As evidenced in the Broncos’ victory over the Buccaneers, Aqib Talib is a vital part of Denver’s defense. With three interceptions on the year, including a pick six, he’s an ultimate playmaker.
