On Friday, the Denver Broncos introduced guard Ronald Leary. At one point during the ensuing press conference, the former Dallas Cowboy was asked about the quarterback he used to protect: Tony Romo.

“Tony’s a great guy,” Leary said. “He was a great teammate with me in Dallas, but I’m here in Denver now.”

Though there was rampant speculation he was going to be released., Romo is still with the Cowboys. Should he be released, the Denver Broncos would reportedly be interested. If that happens however, don’t expect Leary to hit the recruiting trail.

“I’m definitely not a recruiter,” he said. “I’m not going to get caught up in that at all.”

In fact, Leary is happy with the quarterbacks that the Denver Broncos already have: Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch.

“We’ve got two great young quarterbacks, Trevor and Paxton.,” he said. “I watched them last year and they were getting better. They’re young, but they both have bright futures.”
