Not only did Ronnie Hillman’s 23-yard touchdown on Sunday earn the Broncos an AFC West championship and the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs, but it earned him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors, too.

This is the first time Hillman has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL, and it’s the third time this season that a Broncos player has taken home the award; Brock Osweiler and C.J. Anderson won it back to back in Weeks 11 and 12.

On the whole, this was the Broncos sixth AFC Player of the Week honor, the most by any team this season.

Following the news, his backfield mate, C.J. Anderson, gave Hillman a shoutout for joining the club.

Hillman’s 117-yard performance was his fourth 100-yard game of the season, and it gave him a career-high 863 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.

If the Broncos are going to continue their run through the playoffs and on towards the Super Bowl, they’ll need more performances like this from both Hillman and Anderson.
