Training camp cuts continued Thursday morning for the Avalanche. Colorado reassigned five players to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League and placed six others on waivers. Upon clearing waivers, the Avs have the option to send them down.

Among the notable send-downs are forward Alex Beaucage, who scored two preseason goals, and winger Oskar Olausson — Colorado’s first-round pick in 2021 — who enters his first full season as a pro.
