The Denver Broncos lost their seventh straight game after their 21-14 loss to the Oakland Raiders Sunday afternoon. However, backup quarterback Trevor Siemian relieved an injured Paxton Lynch and led the team on two touchdown drives late to make it a one-possession game. Siemian regretted that the Broncos didn’t have more time left.

“After that first series, I just said, ‘I’m going to fire a bunch of completions in here and see what happens,'” Siemian said. “Guys made a bunch of plays, got a little bit of momentum and then you’re in two-minute mode, so you’re just firing away at that point. Just one possession short, it felt like.”

After yet another loss, frustration continues to mount. Siemian noted that in his press conference. “It’s just tough for all of us,” Siemian stated. “We’re losing a bunch of games in a row… it’s frustrating for all of us.”
