It wasn’t pretty, and it wasn’t fun for anyone involved.

In the newest episode of the Pickaxe and Roll Podcast, Ryan Blackburn breaks down the Denver Nuggets 121-109 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers that wasn’t as close as the score. Nikola Jokic was frustrated by the foul calls and committed some egregious fouls as a result. Tony Brothers called three fouls on Jokic, and Nuggets fans are concerned that Brothers has a vendetta against the Nuggets superstar.

Are Nuggets fans right to be upset by Tony Brothers? Ryan discusses what happened and why the Nuggets are struggling. From Jokic’s defense, to Aaron Gordon playing the dunker spot against two bigs in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, to Michael Porter Jr. struggling to defend in space against the Cavs role players, there was plenty to be concerned about on the Nuggets end.

Ryan also discusses whether it’s fair to be concerned about the Nuggets after three losses in four games.
