The Broncos had victory within their grasp, and they blew it … for a moment at least.
After getting the ball back with 1:40 left at the 20-yard line, Brock Osweiler drove the Denver Broncos down the field in six quick plays, including 42 passing yards on two receptions to Owen Daniels.
Following a Bennie Fowler catch that got Denver down to the Bengals 25-yard line, though, Gary Kubiak pulled his foot off the gas pedal and settled for a 45-yard, game-winning field goal. Safe to say, Brandon McManus, uh, missed.
